A High Calling – Radio Tower Maintenance

Every night, from 5:30pm until 8:30am, TWR-Bonaire broadcasts Bible-teaching programs to millions of listeners throughout the Caribbean and Latin America.  The towers that transmit these messages of hope need regular maintenance.  For about 3 months every year, the TWR-Bonaire Antenna Riggers climb the towers (each 479ft. tall) to ensure that the broadcasts can continue.  Each of the four towers must be painted regularly to prevent rusting, which is important in the salty environment of Bonaire!  A project is also underway to replace the old rusted tower braces with new steel braces.  This process involves wrenching each old brace off and bolting a new brace in its place to maintain the  structural integrity of the towers.  A special thanks to these brave ministers of the Gospel!
